This is the book to talk about curiosity killed the cat or la curiosidad mató al gato. It's such a great book to talk about expressions in the Spanish language.
So, this cat called Moustache, really loves his mustache, and he's also extremely curious, and he loves to stick his head in everything, including one day, something that looks very beautiful, and smells really nice: a candle. That's when his mustache goes up into flames and he is left with nothing on his face.
What's great about the story is that not only is it great to talk about expressions, it's also fantastic to talk about feeling good about who you are, no matter what other people say.
Highly recommend for kindergarten, first grade, and second grade!
