Our Process:
Hexagramm Books reviewed hundreds of decodable books with the goal of organizing them for immediate use in the classroom. As a teacher, Marie Bouteillon used Fundations, a structured literacy approach curriculum. She wanted to design a Decodables Library that would follow a research-based sequence to learning the English code. Marie used her knowledge of total word structure to create 12 sets of books in English based on a structured phonics sequence and syllable types.
