El árbol de la palabra

Once upon a time, in a faraway place, there was a strange tree, planted in the middle of a green meadow combed by the wind. Its branches, long and twisted, looked like roots cracking the sky. During the day it looked like any other tree. But when night came, when the sun faded from the sky and the moon began to take shape, a soft murmur would rise from its branches.

Érase una vez, en un lugar lejano, un árbol extraño, plantado en medio de un verde prado peinado por el viento. Sus ramas, largas y retorcidas, parecían raíces que agrietaran el cielo. Durante el día parecía un árbol cualquiera. Pero cuando llegaba la noche, cuando el sol se desdibujaba del cielo y la luna empezaba a perfilarse, de sus ramas surgía un suave murmullo.
