The wind carries a message and will travel among sails, fish, and waves to the beach. There, it will continue its journey until it is captured by a seashell that releases it again. A picture book where a story travels and always begins anew.

Written in a poetic style, Not Just Any Mountain is about volcanoes, tectonic plates, earthquakes, ash rain, and other natural phenomena, seen through the eyes of a girl who, like the author, lives on the slopes of the Ring of Fire, the Pacific volcanic chain, one of the most active in the world.
