This is the story of two child ragpickers - pepenadores - as they are called. They live in a slum and work in a huge garbage dump in South America. Digging, finding, fighting, exchanging, selling: this is their daily life. A story of life, a bit Dickensian, about the fate of children who must work to help their parents survive.
