Marie Bouteillon is an award-winning educator, who shares simple, practical teaching techniques on her blog Just Good Teaching. A multilingual consultant, Marie is frequently invited to speak at international, national and regional conferences. She provides full-day professional learning workshops, and supports schools and districts with teacher coaching. Marie began her career as a teacher of English as a New Language before becoming the founding dual language teacher at PS 58 The Carroll School. In recognition of her work in New York City, Marie was personally awarded the title of Chevalier des palmes académiques, the highest award granted to educators by the French Ministry of Education. Marie is also the lead curator at Hexagramm Books, where she builds diverse, authentic and socially emotionally supportive book collections for schools.
